Let’s Talk Strategy

Streaming ads that answer for cost per lead.

Most streaming gets sold as awareness and reported in impressions. CTV lead generation works differently here: we run it to a lead goal and tell you what each one cost.

We bid on people, not impressions.

An impression is just an empty slot; what decides the bid is who's on the other side of it, and whether this household looks like your next lead.

One household, five touches, one cap.

Nobody fills out a form off one impression, so we plan the whole day and cap it at the household. What that cap should be changes by audience: in our retail work, parents converted at a fraction of the frequency B2B buyers needed, so the number gets set to your audience rather than a house default.

The creative has to match the goal.

We don't make your ads, and we won't pretend a good buy rescues a bad spot. What we will do is tell you what this goal needs before you brief it, because the spot that builds a brand is not the spot that fills a pipeline.

One offer, one action

Two calls to action in a thirty second spot usually means people take neither.

Say the next step out loud

Audio carries when the screen is being ignored, so the number or the action should be spoken, not just captioned.

Leave time to explain

A lead needs a reason, and fifteen seconds rarely gives you enough room to make one.

Your list is the seed, not the ceiling.

A first-party list is almost always too small to run a campaign on by itself, so cost per lead advertising starts by matching it, working out what those people have in common, and going to find more of them near you.

Know which publishers actually produced leads.

Your buyer watches across several apps in the same week, so handing the whole lead to whichever one happened to be last tells you almost nothing. We split the credit across every publisher that actually reached that household, so you can see what each one contributed.

CTV lead generation, answered.

Can CTV lead generation really be held to a cost per lead?

Yes. Streaming ads for lead generation get judged the same way as any other line on the plan: we agree on the lead definition before launch, then report cost per lead alongside impressions, completions, frequency, and reach. If a publisher isn't producing leads at your target, it comes out of the mix.

How do you tie a lead back to a TV ad?

We place a conversion pixel on the pages that matter, and our CallRail integration ties inbound phone calls back to the households that saw your ad. Then we review it with you on a regular basis, lining up what your own CRM recorded against what the platform reports, alongside the frequency that audience actually needed.

What counts as a lead?

Whatever your business counts. Lead generation advertising falls over when nobody agrees on the definition, so we pin it down first: form fills, phone calls, chat starts, case intakes, application starts, or booking requests. We set that metric with you before the campaign launches, so nobody argues about the definition afterward.

Do we need our own CRM data to run this?

No, but it helps. Your customer list is usually the strongest audience on the plan, matched and scrubbed of personal data, then extended to lookalikes. Without it we build from intent and behavioral segments instead.

How long before connected TV lead generation produces leads?

Longer than a click, and that's the point. Performance CTV advertising does two jobs at once: it builds the top of your funnel and it moves people through it. Almost nobody takes action after a single view, so leads build as frequency accumulates, usually over weeks rather than days. What you can watch the whole time is how many form fills and sales came from households that actually saw your commercial, so you're seeing it work rather than waiting for a verdict.
